In this tutorial step by step install Prestashop in your hosting account. Just a few clicks then install Prestashop your hosting. We install Prestashop version 1.6.1.24 but you can install any version.
Server Requirement
- Disk Space: 5 GB or more is better
- Bandwidth: 100 GB or more is better
- MySql Databases: 5 or more is better
- PHP Version: 7.2 or high
Server configuration is the most important when you are using Prestashop. Prestashop is a very lightweight but server speed is very important for loading your website. You will choose mostly high RAM and high processor. Shared hosting is not good for the eCommerce website. Cloud hosting is the best.
Step by Step Install Prestashop Theme
Open your hosting Cpanel or Direct admin panel. Don’t worry, Direct admin panel and Cpanel is the same features.

How to use hosting cPanel or Direct admin?
Step 1. Your hosting provider will give you a URL. That will open the Hosting Admin panel.
Step 2. Use the admin username and password then login to your Cpanel. This username and password provided your hosting company.
Step 3. After login opens hosting Cpanel account and then scroll down. Look the Extra Features row click Softaculous Auto Installer. This software quickly installs your Prestashop theme.
Step 4. That is Softaculous Auto Installer panel. This panel has many more options but we have clicked the Prestashop icon.
Step 5. Open Prestashop install section and then click the install button.
Step 6. This window will open after clicking on the install button. It is an installed configuration panel.
Step 7. Choose the install version you want to install.
Step 8. If you do not want to install in a folder, leave the Directory option blank. If not, write the name of the directory.
Step 9. Admin email is very important. This email allows you to log in to your Prestashop admin panel. You need to enter a password. There is no need to change any options. Then click install.
Step 10. Prestashop installation is starting. Take 1-2 minutes.
Step 11. Prestashop installation complete. Copy the Prestashop admin URL. This is the URL to open the Prestashop admin dashboard. Logout this panel and then use the Prestashop website.
